Sailing, canoeing, kayaking and rafting enthusiasts will enjoy the Granisle area. Enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of Babine Lake aboard a houseboat.

The lake is sheltered by the mountains from high winds, making it easy to paddle and enjoy the wilderness. Babine Lake is also very narrow which minimizes heavy swells and waves.

There are many sandy beaches along the lake and campsites are provided by BC Forest service.

Houseboats are available for day rent or charter from Babine Lodge. Each houseboat is self contained and sleeps up to 10.

Western Outdoor Experience in Smithers rents out 14 ft aluminum boats with 16 hp outboard engine and trailer, Makenzie 15ft drift boat, pantoon boats and canoes with paddles and lifejackets.
